Fall Festival Recap and Online Binder

TRADITIONAL CARNIVAL GAMES AVAILABLE
EACH GAME NEEDS... *Game rules or explanation. *A small basket or something to hold balls, darts, ping pong balls,  pennies, etc. *Sign with the name of booth and how many tickets.  *White square bucket full of whatever prizes you're giving out. *Table, tablecloth, folding chair and tape. *Halloween Candy


Candy Walk - 2 tickets
-Panther paw laminated papers with numbers to put in circle on ground
-Duct tape
-Numbers in pumpkin (to be drawn when music stops to determine winner.)
-Speaker with music
-Donated full-sized candy bars

Ping Pong Toss - 1 ticket
-Pool (with water)
-Glass bowls
-Ping pong balls

Balloon Darts - 1 ticket
-Board
-Paper balloons or real balloons.  (Less work for volunteers if you just have picture of balloons.)
-Darts

Pumpkin Penny Toss - 1 ticket
-Board with pumpkins on them
-Pennies

Fishing- 1 ticket
-White PVC pipe with blue sheets decorated with water scene on outside
-Fishing poles with clothes pins
-Larger candy?

Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss - 1 ticket
-Pumpkin boards with sticks holding them up
-Bean bags

Harvest Apple Toss - 1 ticket
-Three baskets
-Foamy apples

Milk Bottle Toss - 1 ticket
-Milk Bottles
-Balls
-Milk crates to set the bottles on

Lollipop Ring Toss - 1 ticket
-Lollipops
-Rings
-Board with holes
-Cover board in new plastic

Tic Tac Toe - 1 ticket
-Two Cardboard TTT games
-Small wiffle balls

Wifffle Ball Toss - 1 ticket
-Two large milk cans with lids off (Diamond family)
-Wiffle ball

Lollipop Draw - 1 ticket
-Board with holes leaning on something
-Lollipops (some with markings on sticks)
-This one you win a lollipop if you get a marked one and  a Dum-Dum if you don't

Duck Pond- 1 ticket
-Pool (with water)
-Ducks (Some that are marked on the bottom)

Basketball Shoot - 1 ticket
-Hoop
-Basketballs

Football Toss - 1 ticket
-Tire hanging from something or hula hoop
-Football

Golf- 1 ticket
-Golf game (Diamond family)
-Clubs
-Golf balls

Lucky Seven- 1 ticket
-Large dice

  • Hot Dogs: Hot dog machine at Close Lumber in Sutter. 600 Acacia Ave. (530) 755-0055. $40 to rent. 500 buns and hot dogs (Grocery Outlet). Aluminum foil, 2 ketchups and mustard
  • Popcorn:  Popcorn machine and popcorn at Close Lumber in Sutter. 600 Acacia Ave. (530) 755-0055. $40 to rent machine. $2/popcorn. Bags in BV shed. 1 case of popcorn @ $40/each
  • Cotton Candy: Machine, sugar and sticks at Close Lumber - 1600 Acacia Ave. Sutter, CA (530) 755-0055. Should get 2 machines. Very popular. $40 to rent machine. 2 cases @ $40/each
  • Sodas and Water Drinks: 600 sodas and 400 waters from Grocery Outlet. 6 ice chests and ice.
  • Lemonade: Donated by Carls Junior on 995 Tharp Ave.

  • Tables from Yuba City Firefighters Association. BV Contact: Drew C
  • Parents for ticket sales. Afterschool week of event and to man 2 tables at the event. Treasurer/Board Member & one parent per table.
DONATIONS

  • Full Sized Candy Bars for Candy Walk. Donated by parents.
IDEAS FOR NEXT YEAR
  • 7th, 8th, and high school students run carnival games
  • Adult Volunteers, Kohls and Target Volunteers run food with tickets
  • Incentives for classrooms, parents and students that volunteer time.
  • Informational booth with someone always there that knows everything...to answer questions.
  • Finalize map and make copies. Reserve 1 person to do this once everything is set up...4-5pm
  • Photographer during event
  • Recycle Buckets for soda and water
